Jenni Chambers

for Kollage Yarns   2012

3813 Susie Tunic

Says Chambers: "This top is knit in the round. The body starts at the bottom edge and is worked up to the armholes. From this point, the front and back pieces are worked separately and joined at the shoulders." This means that if you're wicked sharp and shape the shoulders with short rows and cast them off together, there's no sewing; even if you don't, the sewing is minimal, and the beauty of the side lace panels is unobstructed by seaming. Back neck is straight. The sexual subtlety here is wonderful, almost like an irresistible perfume, which you can dial up or down by the amount of ease you choose.
