756 Eve
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Penny Straker: “A vintage feminine design, with subtle understated drama. Eve was originally designed in worsted weight mohair, which enhanced the desired airiness for Eve. Impeccably tailored, the faced Stockinette Stitch hems at sleeve and body cuffs, worked on a smaller needle size than the body, and turned to the inside on a purl row, add further refinement to this design.

“The graceful sleeves, worked with many increases just above the hem add a romantic touch. The positive ease through the body is dovetailed to a refined and diminutive armhole and shoulder line, and finished with an easy and slightly draped turtleneck.

“I am not aware of many worsted weight mohairs in today’s marketplace, but there are fabulous fibers and fiber blends, which are also light - airy – and will accommodate Mom’s timeless and elegant design.”
