17.6 Diamond Lady
Explains Noe: "The sweater is knitted in garter stitch domino squares, with 1 stockinette st at the center st of each square. The domino squares are diamond shaped and decreased at the center until 1 st remains at the top. The last stitch will be used to begin a welt. The welts are worked in stockinette, folded and then knitted together to start the next square. All the sts are cast on with Knitted CO to keep the edges elastic." Sleeves are picked up and knitted down, with a little cap built in. The neck is a kind of V'd crew that fits in perfectly with the design theme. The slope-shouldered silhouette is generous, but this is way more refined and fun than a typical sweatshirt sweater.
