Molehill is a semicircular shawl, worked from the bottom up, and decreased to the last 6 stitches, which are then grafted together, or joined with a three-needle bind-off.
The ground is garter stitch (wrong side rows are knitted) which makes for a quick project for most knitters.
The pattern is charted.
Gauge is not very significant, and size and texture can be easily altered by use of different needles and yarn.
Skills: This pattern is for intermediate level knitters. Skills necessary are paired double and triple decreasing, YO and grafting or three-needle bind-off.
Sizing: Knitting at given gauge, the finished shawl is blocked to 152 cm wide (60”) and 76 cm deep (30”).
