To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

19.7 Shrug

Here is something fascinating but simple. This delicate shrug, knitted in one piece from cuff to cuff, has a wingspan of 59" no matter what the size; it's the vertical body, i.e. from hem to neckline, that determines sizing. Worked with two strands of the Merino Fine held together for the cuff; the body is worked with one strand of Merino Fine and one of Super Kid Mohair. The resulting fabric is a dream, of course. The 'stars' are just a matter of puckering the fabric with a cross-stitch after the fact; you may of course omit them.
