These breathtaking gauntleted mittens tempt the timid. They are made of worsted weight (20 sts = 4"/10cm on a 4.5mm/US7) yarn, which most everybody has some of. They use up oddments, to please both the thrifty and the profligate. They can be done in conservative or traditional colours (as shown), or in any madcap combination that pleases you. All colourwork is charted, so it's easy to read. There's an optional mohair-blend lining (which we would find indispensable). The pattern is detailed and thorough. Anything else? Let's go!
