Here in all its fresh young glory is a really easy set that looks adorable on. The pinafore is a lovely garment, worn by itself in summer or over various types of shirts or blouses in other seasons. This version is profoundly simple to work (flat, in two pieces), really just composed of ribbing and st st. The skirt is just a swath of st st; then you decrease all in one row and begin the bodice. Socks and hat are worked in the round, socks from the cuff down to the toe (no grafting). Flower instructions included; scatter them over the skirt for extra prettiness.
