Aside from there being no charts, this pattern is a well-nigh perfect work of art. The design is extraordinary: the beautiful cable pattern is worked as a long strip, then joined by either grafting or doing a 3-needle bind off. Instructions are, of course, provided for both. Then stitches are picked up around the perimeter of the band and Twisted Stitch Ribbing is worked up the inside, culminating in the Eye of Partridge decreasing on the crown... the more you love to knit, the more you should buy this pattern, in sufficient quantities that Ouellette may quit his day job and design full time for all of us fanatics.
