9019 Warm Me Up
Essentially this is gloriously fancy silk underwear in addition to being a lovely top. We have ordered garden variety fine silk turtlenecks from catalogues, and they do indeed keep you warm in cold weather. This will keep you warm and gorgeously dressed, and you have all the fun of making it, too. Hem and cuffs are cast on in a contrasting colour of similar weight yarn, and later you join your live stitches with the purl bumps from the first MC row; in this way you construct hung hems. Waist shaping is included; neckline is left unfinished.
