Says designer Lake: "The 'Denim Blues' Shawl takes 3 hanks of Riveting Sport, 2 of one color and 1 of another. It is constructed in a triangle starting at the top center and worked out ending in the lovely lace ruffle. An optional I-Cord can be added at the top when finished. The eyelet sections increase by one eyelet row each time it is worked in the shawl. When changing colors you carry them along the edge wrapping the unused color with the working yarn on each right side row to secure it to the shawl. This shawl is great for a beginner who wants to learn lace and the seasoned knitter alike. It knits up fairly fast on size 7 needles. Your shawl will not need to be blocked when you finish, as Riveting has a very lovely drape to it."
