6038 The Big Square Jacket

This is indeed a Big Square Jacket (or almost) in just about every way that counts, with a waterfall effect. Check out the schematic on the data page-- the fronts and back are rectangles, and the sleeves nearly so, with a slight cap. The fabric is simply large blocks of st st and reverse st st. There is no special edge or finishing treatment whatsoever: you just sew the large pieces together and let them hang as they will. It's relaxed, it's sophisticated, you could probably wear it inside out for a deconstructed effect-- and it's really easy.
