Two absolute basic classics for the sophisticated urban nomad. The first is a terribly simple, dramatic coat in reverse st st (we like how the interior of the hood frames the face in stockinette); the second, the silhouette Sharon Stone made famous-- the funnel/turtleneck shell. On the coat, the right front is worked 'as for left front, reversing shaping and pocket placement', and the top of the hood is grafted. On the waist-shaped shell, the back and front are identical with the neck finished in the round. All decreases are done inside the edges for a smooth rolled finish. Original yarn for both pieces was 27% angora, 26% wool, 25% microfibre, 22% viscose, 50yds/46m to 50g, st st gauge as given below.
