While knitters universally love the Dale of Norway traditional Nordic designs, they can be intimidating. Let this graceful, versatile, steek-free piece be your introduction to Dale style. The body is knit in the round to the (shaped, set-in) underarm, but Tofthagen kindly has you finish the colourwork before that starts; then you work flat, back and forth. Sleeves are worked in the round but finished flat with a high proud cap; the refinement in the fit is obvious. This is a treasure of a sweater that would look magnificent in hundreds of colourways.
