For our 600th Sirdar pattern, we introduce the design that graces their F/W 2011 - 2012 catalogue cover. It introduces a lovely new drapey quality for fall (bamboo, acrylic, wool) in a striking, simple sweater with long or short sleeves. This is a gansey writ very large, with your choice of a cowl or garter crew neck. The silhouette is exceptionally simple: straight sides for a drop shoulder, but the sleeves have caps and the shoulders are shaped. The diamond patterning is written out, not charted, so it looks a tad wordy; but it's an easy, crisp addition to your fall wardrobe.
