One of those indispensable pieces that you want to reknit every year with different yarns and colours. The main yarn here was the Velvet Wool, worked in a textured slip stitch for a gorgeous luxe jacket fabric; the scarf collar is picked up and knit out in garter stitch. Absolutely made for accessories (wear it with a belt underneath!) and texture combinations. Sleeves are set in, but the fit is relaxed. This is one of the most sophisticated-looking pieces that an ambitious newbie could try; just be sure and have pencil and paper nearby to keep track of shaping.
