Nancy Rieck
for Kollage Yarns 2011
3803 Spring Aire
WEB EXCLUSIVE
Here is something quite wonderfully new. You make the lacy yoke strip first and join the cast-on to the cast-off edge with a three-needle bind-off. Then you pick up and work the upper yoke in the round, and bind off; then you pick up for the body and knit down, incorporating sleeves as you go. With the exception of the initial lace strip (you should be able to do a p3tbl, BTW), everything's done in the round. Rieck gives you options throughout for customizing lengths. And on top of all this fun, it's just a great-looking, fresh little piece.
