001 Peasant Blouse by the Sea

This is an oversized, tunic length knit peasant blouse in Handmaiden Sea Silk. It has drawstrings at the neckline, waistline and each sleeve to help with adjusting the fit but also creating a gathered and bloused effect. The lace trim is knit separately and then stitches are picked up to complete the garment. The lace patterns used in the pattern are elegant but incredibly easy to work. It is knit flat then stitched together and there are no lace charts with this pattern. (We think all women would look like Ondine in this-- Ed.)
