Here is a bolero that's extremely simple, and yet the impact is incredible. This is only a stockinette bolero with elementary (though flattering, especially around the shoulders) shaping. The fun is in the regular bobbling motifs on the front 'bands'. It's an approach both vintage and modern. Curiously, the look goes with all kinds of outfits-- it can look as much cowgirl as ballerina. Back neck is shaped, sleeves are well set in. Front band extensions meet and are sewn down at the centre back neck. Seed stitch detailing finishes the look. This design is from Nashua Book 17, Seashore.
