'Solace' is well-named; it's 70% alpaca and 30% silk. Imagine the luxury in such a sporty, versatile piece as this. Rosner has made it extremely knitterly, in that it's worked in one piece to the armholes, then divided for back and fronts; and the waist and shoulders are shaped. Nothing's difficult. Most everyone can knit and purl, and if you haven't cabled successfully, it's because you haven't tried. The collar is shaped with both increases and short rows, for extra interest.
