A splendid little set to welcome any new arrival, this is easy but interesting to make, and of course goes like the wind. Both the hat and socks are worked in the round, but at different gauges (first gauge given below is for the hat, second for the socks). Sock cabling is done only over the instep-- for comfort if baby starts walking very early! The yarn is a wonderful merino/silk/nylon blend for comfort and washability, and the colourways are delightful. Gorgeous on boys or girls, and can be worn with absolutely anything.
