5592 Boyfriend Cardigan with Long or 3/4 Sleeves

Wendy calls this a "boyfriend" cardigan. We are puzzled by this, since the design sports a gorgeous deeply-cut V neck and waist shaping over its long lines. Our boyfriends have never worn such things. But it looks absolutely smashing on girls in either the two-colour or one-colour versions. The sleeves are set in and are fully fashioned, as are the decreases along the front V shaping. Buttonbands are worked up from edge stitches placed on hold after the hem, sewn down as you go, and joined at back neck. A sinuous delight of a basic.
