This vintage pattern is written graphically. The action to be performed is in the left column, and the sizes run across the page with the relevant # of stitches under them-- very clear and easy to understand. Sleeves are picked up and knit (flat) down from the armhole to the cuff. Only one needle size is used throughout, which is easy. There is no neck shaping, just the vent down the front. The size range is enormous and goes from age 2 to a finished 46". Original publication date is unknown. (Heritage is the same yarn as Candide sold under another name-- Ed.)
