Now and Then Cozy Vest
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Jones reports: "This vest was inspired by the Cozy Coat in the Fleisher's Knitting pattern book dated 1915. It is fitted at the waist but updated for current lifestyles. There is a neat little I-cord edging with hidden buttonholes, a latter-day addition. The times, they are a-changing." We love this time-travelling theme of hers, and this vest would indeed be stunning in any century: its 'cracked rib' patterning is very handsome, and the look flawless in any situation. Jones writes a very competent and very friendly pattern; the final instructions are to: "Block the vest lightly above the rib. Nobody wants her ribs flattened. Let dry overnight if you can wait that long to put on your new vest and go forth to impress your adoring public."
