"Since I published this classic pattern in 1997," says Soucy, "it has been happily knitted thousands of times, by knitters all over the world, in every kind of yarn you can imagine, and is still a best seller. This pullover uses heavy worsted weight yarn at a gauge of 4 stitches to the inch. Roll collar can be a crew neck if desired, with no change in number of stitches. Finished chest measurements 38 to 54 inches. Make sure you measure a garment that fits the way you like to choose which size to make! Some knitters use a smaller needle to get a tighter gauge to get a smaller finished measurement." Soucy offers a lovely knitalong guide to knitting her top-down sweaters here.
