As usual, you work the neck back and forth until the V neck is shaped-- this comes after the division for sleeves; then you join the work in the round and continue from there. Knitting the sleeves down to the cuff allows you to customize their length. Just a lovely pattern, tremendously versatile and a great look for all kids.
