Gothic Gloves
This simple glove pattern is just the thing for cool hands that need a little extra elegance. Twisted ribbing is carried forward onto the back of the hand, eventually diminishing into a gothic peak, for a touch of vampire-inspired style. Work this pattern in one of two versions: DK-weight for a bit of extra warmth, or in fingering-weight for lighter days. Both versions come in two sizes. (One of three patterns in the ‘Buffy-the-Vampire-slayer-inspired Collection’ of gloves and mittens.)
SKILLS
To execute this pattern, knitters will be required to:
• Work knit and purl, and slipped sts
• Work simple cable twists
• Work increases and decreases
• Pick up stitches
• Follow charted stitch patterns
