"A lightly felted bag, worked in the round with two-colour stranded knitting in a Holstein Cow pattern," says Neatby. "Culminating in an udder with four teats set in using waste yarn.
"The strap is cast-on and then threaded through the bag loops (already incorporated in the top of the bag)."
(Incredibly witty, this 'bag' includes an option for-- get ready-- yarn-dispensing teats, should you wish to use it for a knitting bag; and Neatby adds instructions for embellishing the udder with some veins, 'for a truly authentic udder look': these are visible in the photo.
