Says Alexander: "This garment is worked from left front body to right front body, then crocheted around the armhole for the sleeve, then the crocheted popcorn neck is worked up from the body-- so it is no sewing!" We are so thrilled to see all the new beautiful crochet work that abounds today, and this is a striking-but-serene example of it. Be sure and check out the solid colour version, too-- the look is very different (if Jacqueline Onassis were an anime character, she would wear that). Gauge is 14.5 dc on an H/US8/5mm hook to 4"/10cm; American crochet terminology.
