Uses heavy worsted weight yarn at a gauge of 18 stitches to 4 inches. This makes a fast gift in sizes newborn to 12 months.

(Knitted top down, and this is a great project to do that way-- not too bulky, and the raglan sleeves work up easily in the round. The rest of the piece is done back and forth, except for the round bit at the bottom of the bag-- Ed.)
