Lacy sorcery based on a st st ground, this is an all-season enchantment. Knit from the top centre down to the border, it's arranged in a rhythmic, musical cascade of lace and st st sections. In a wondrous way, this looks calm and beautiful when seen flat-out, but intriguing when worn draped as in the main photo. Preece knows her techniques intimately, and provides rare and useful hints for making your lace eyelets a consistent size. Perfectly thought out, it's splendid in both smaller or larger versions, but never uses more than 3 skeins of the Creamy.
