"A snuggly raglan pullover with rolled edges for children sizes 2 through 14," says Soucy. "Fast to knit at a gauge of 12 sts to 4 inches. Edges can be made with ribbing instead of the roll, with no change in stitch counts." Spectacularly easy, gratifying to make, utterly timeless, and looks great on boys or girls-- this is a pattern with universal appeal. Soucy is careful to obviate any possible pitfalls at the outset (because the back neck is worked back-and-forth for a bit so as to lower the front neck), but afterwards all is circular and seam-free bliss. Soucy offers a lovely knitalong guide to knitting her top-down sweaters here.

I am so excited to see Knitting Pure & Simple patterns on Patternfish. I can hardly wait 'til they get more of their fabulous patterns up here. I would really like to see the kids hooded vest in bulky weight - hint hint!!

The Knitting Pure and Simple patterns are going through a reformatting, and we are posting the new versions as we get them.
