Thank you for such a quick response. That makes sense. You know, I truly love your patterns and the support you offer. I've made 6 pairs of the children's bulky slipper pattern and now I am looking forward to the adult slippers. Thank you for your help with the pattern and with keeping our family warm during this awful winter in New England!

On my PDF that I sent to Patternfish, those squares are 1/2 (as in one half inch). We will get that fixed!

The slipper pattern B has some interesting notations, namely a square that appears after some measurements. When it says work to so many inches, as in the heel band, a square appears after the number of inches. I am baffled by this. Does anyone know the reason?
