Wonderful patterns for young lads are hard to find. Sirdar has discontinued this one, but luckily we can rescue it for posterity's enjoyment. It's got everything for boys (girls too, of course, but still). You can have a hood, or polo-style collar, or a simple crew neck. The embellishment, such as it is, is only knitting and purling and doesn't get more complicated than the k2p2 pattern on the yoke. It's a drop shoulder too. But we especially love the garter framing of the rib at the hem and cuffs and bands, and just the sheer clean good looks of it.
