"The stretchy garter stitch fabric, loose fit, and shorter sleeve length make this a style that will grow with her too. Cardi is worked side to side beginning at front band. Short rows give subtle shaping for a superb fit. This quick knit is almost a 'no sew' project too (except for the sleeve and underarm seams, hardly worth mentioning-- Ed.)
