"A quick knit guernsey in super bulky yarn," says Silverman. We love traditional styles like this one. Here the designer has made them accessible to the general knitting population by working them at a large friendly gauge (not the finer, original 6 ply). Only the simplest cables and knit/purl patterns are used, and they're displayed in a very logical way. The patterning occurs only on the bodice, offsetting the sleeve area; the sleeves themselves are picked up and knit down from the armhole. Quick and very handsome.
