A simple piece on the face of it, but full of knitting intrigue. As you can see, the major body pieces are knitted sideways, so the shaping of shoulders, armholes and neck is tons of fun. The shoulders are shaped, but the sides of the piece are straight-- you just pick up the armbands and knit out. All the major borders are applied after the fact. The front borders are worked in two pieces (joined at back neck) and shaped with short rows. Vastly interesting to make and wear with just about anything.
