Tank Top With Oversized Collar

Every woman needs a basic top in some marvellous fabric-- preferably many of them. Here is a terrific candidate. This is a dead-easy design with the back and front knit identically. The neckline is a wide scoop; after sewing the front and back together, you pick up from it and work the collar in garter stitch, in the round. Armholes (nicely curved in as for a set-in sleeve) are finished with just a little 1 x 1 rib. The thick/thin/slubby Tango yarn gives a beautiful finish and is available in solids or variegated colourways. Gauge given over garter stitch.
