Hanson has used the Leafprints lace theme before, but never over so large a field, to such gracefully airy effect. Creamy is 80% milk and 20% cotton, and so should be a hypoallergenic dream of soft stitch definition. Hanson highlights both its drape and plied sophistication by working it relaxed in garter stitch, and the hem in the lush leaf pattern. Hanson is meticulous in her charts, giving you the bottom hem triangle separately from the rest of the hem, and the whole lace arrangement is written out as well as amply graphed. Little Iris, a second Hanson creation in Creamy, is offered in two styles/sizes.
