Pure ease, for both the knitter and the child. The stitch pattern is fantastically simple, and the shape couldn't be easier either: it's a pure drop shoulder with a (wide, kid-friendly) crew neck and just normal sleeve increases with a flat cap. Neck finishing is just a st st roll; cuffs have one round of garter before launching into the overall pattern. Back neck is straight.
