"The perfect first time Fair Isle project," says Ellis. "3 projects are combined into one pattern (fingerless mitts or gauntlets, a hat, and socks). The sock pattern is written separately for both traditional double pointed needles as well as the Magic Loop method." Ellis puts a great deal of care into her patterns, and is humane to boot (e.g. she writes out the placement of the second mitt's thumb gusset instead of asking you to 'reverse all shaping'). In addition, she writes out the toe grafting instructions. A lovely set that provides lots of gorgeous fair isle practice in the round.
