This design pulls off a near-miracle. It makes a guy look intriguing, unpredictable, non-standard-- and yet the sweater itself is as understated and low-key as most guys want. Just goes to show what happens when you use subtle common elements in a very sparing, judicious way. Raglan sleeves are becoming on most everyone, and obviously a very classic style; Sirdar kindly gives you selvage stitches for them so your seams are neater. And look how the cable and knit/purl side panels form their own ribbing! Thoughtful, solid, just like the sweater.
