Cranley: "The movie 'Best In Show' comes to mind on reviewing this pattern. Be sure and rent it for some side-splitting laughs the next time you sit down with your knitting. Movies aside, this is a great little vest that employs five desert-toned colors that would remain as large stripes if not bridged with a simple square motif. Sticking with geometry, we finished off the neck and lower edges with a triangle motif. These are simple motifs to knit. It's the how the color choices work together that will give you a unique look to this vest.

"The knitting starts off with all the garment sections on a circular needle, working back and forth, lending a streamlined look to the colorwork. At the beginning of the armhole shaping, the back and the two front sections are transferred to straight needles and worked separately to the shoulders. This vest is waist-length with set-in armhole shaping, ready to show off your favorite color combinations."
