A spectacular and very unusual crocheted shawl or poncho. It's almost reminiscent of certain kinds of quilting patterns-- maybe double wedding ring or even the cathedral window style. Happily and unusually, there's a splendid big chart with the crochet pattern all diagrammed out, taking up a whole page-- though the instructions are written out, too. Gauge is 1 pattern repeat (after being blocked or laid out flat) to 5.5cm or 2.15" on a 3.5mm (US E/4) hook Pattern originated in New Zealand, so we're guessing British crochet terminology.
