Here the accomplished folk at Wendy have played with the standard architecture of this style. Instead of a cabled round yoke, it's plain moss (American-- seed) stitch, with the cables adorning the body of the piece. It's just a symphony of texture and the play of light. And it almost looks Edwardian to us, too, like one of those full blouses women wore at the beginning of the 20th century. The left and right front and back pieces are wrought straight up to the raglan armholes. All pieces are joined at the yoke bottom and finished at once. An option is provided for a high neck as well as the crew you see.
