1330 Ribbed Square Placket Pullover
WEB EXCLUSIVE
A sweater so clingy and utterly Italian that, not only does it not need any shoulder or back neck or extra body shaping, but it comes with a warning from its editor. "This is a very tight fitting garment with a lot of stretch," advises Porter. "An un-stretched garment with a negative ease of 30cm (12") or more, will easily stretch to approx. 0 - 5cm (2") ease." In other words, take your walks with a Rottweiler. This is an Italian idea of American sportwear, with its square placket; it's distinctive and full of finesse. Note that the garment as shown uses Italian tubular cast-ons and cast-offs, but to quote Porter: "Use your own preferred method."
