This is a raglan that doesn't really look or behave like a raglan, and as such should be becoming on just about anybody. Working with a fine precious fibre-- a wool, silk, and cashmere blend between a DK and a sport weight-- Porter has made a plain kind of body with lots of fluidity (the better to show off the waist shaping). The sleeve length (sleeves are worked flat) is wonderful; and the wide lace edge narrows down to a standard upper arm width. After joining the pieces (the back is identical to the front), you work the lace neckband in the round. Little to no ease is recommended.
