"A yummy yarn, a rhythmic pattern and a cushy wrap with endless options-- I loved knitting this wrap and watching it take the lead as to what it wanted to be. It was like watching a butterfly (Vlinder) take wing, thus the name in Dutch (like mine). The Merino Sei (6 in Italian-- Ed.) is normally suggested on a US6 (4mm) needle, but the springy nature of this wonderful yarn worked amazingly well on US 10.5 (6.5mm) needles with good stitch definition. Your choice of yarn will determine the appropriate needles that provide openness but also good support. Then experiment with the many ways to wear the wrap."
