"Indulge yourself and play with all your favorite fibers and colors-- without calories!" urges Bylsma. "Create elegant, fanciful neckroll pillows-- both felted and 'plain'-- in three scrumptious sizes. Start with a basic wool (not washable wool) for the felted pillows and add whatever extras you want. Just keep at least one strand of wool as you combine yarns to hold all fibers in the elting process. The 'plain' or non-felted version uses DK weight (or 10 ply worsted-- Ed.) cottons and other yarns that don't felt but are just as much fun to play with. Both versions have tucks for an elegant touch. Eyelets at each end can be laced with ribbons, lace, leather shoelaces or any fun touch to fit your decor."
