Now we might call it 'modular'-- Classic Elite called it 'entrelac' in 1994. We have listed it both ways. This coat is a spectacular piece of work and a superb showcase for colour. Some experience with the technique might be helpful, but since the individual block structure is so forgiving (it's not epic taking out mistakes other than ripping out the mohair), we encourage the ambitious to try it. The body blocks are all in stocking stitch; the hem ones have garter edges. And pockets too! Classic Elite-supplied errata included, current at May 2008.
