Comfortable, versatile, elegant: also an intriguing experience to make. Deb Gemmell uses all her engineering skills and many fascinating elements to construct this piece. It includes phoney seams, the three-needle-cast-off, and picking up the sleeves around the armhole and knitting them down to the wrist. So everything's customizable-- length, sleeve, the works. And they tell you how, and why, and make it all seem logical and fun.

happy when knitting

I love this sweater. I am currently finishing the front. I think I will make it with 3/4 sleeves since I am knitting down the sleeve it shouldn't be difficult to figure out when to stop. The pattern is very clearly written and I can't wait to finish it.
